Psychodynamic Therapy

Understanding where you came from -- so you can change where you're going.

Some patterns are stubborn. They show up in relationship after relationship, job after job, decision after decision -- and no matter how many times you identify them, they keep returning. Psychodynamic therapy goes underneath the surface to explore the unconscious roots of those patterns: where they came from, what function they serve, and how to loosen their grip. This is depth work -- and it creates lasting change.

Does this sound familiar?

This work is for you if...

  • --

You keep repeating the same patterns and genuinely don't know why.

  • --

Your past is quietly shaping your present in ways you can feel but can't quite name.

  • --

You want to understand yourself at a deeper level -- not just manage symptoms.

  • --

You're drawn to exploratory, insight-oriented work rather than a structured protocol.

What to Expect

Psychodynamic therapy is relational, exploratory, and open-ended. Sessions involve free exploration of your thoughts, feelings, memories, and dreams -- following what emerges rather than a fixed agenda. Over time, patterns become visible, unconscious material becomes conscious, and the past loses its grip on the present. This is typically longer-term work, and its effects tend to be deep and lasting. Sessions are held via secure telehealth for clients located in Georgia.

What Becomes Possible

The outcomes you're working toward

Insight into your unconscious patterns

You'll understand the deeper forces driving your choices, relationships, and responses -- and that understanding becomes real, lasting leverage for change.

A different relationship with your past

Not erasing it -- integrating it. Your history becomes context rather than a script you're unconsciously following.

Deeper, more authentic connections

As you understand yourself better, you relate to others differently -- with more honesty, less defensiveness, and more genuine presence.
