A site about navigating life should be navigable by everyone. We want every visitor—including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings—to be able to use this site comfortably.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Practices on this site include:
- Semantic headings and landmark structure on every page
- A skip-to-content link and full keyboard operability
- Visible focus indicators
- Labeled form fields with clear error and success messaging
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motion: animations and background video are disabled when your system requests reduced motion
Ongoing work
Accessibility is maintenance, not a milestone. We review the site as it changes, and we expect to keep finding things to improve.
