Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Change how you think. Change how you live.
CBT is one of the most researched and effective forms of therapy available -- and it's particularly powerful for high-achievers who want to understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behavior. It's practical, skills-based, and built around the idea that the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves -- and about the world -- have enormous power. And that power can be reclaimed.
Does this sound familiar?
This work is for you if...
- --
You know your thoughts aren't always accurate, but you can't seem to shift them on your own.
- --
Anxiety, perfectionism, or relentless self-criticism is running more of your life than you'd like to admit.
- --
You want practical tools -- not just insight -- that you can actually use outside of sessions.
- --
You're ready to challenge the beliefs that are holding you back and build new ones.
What to Expect
CBT is structured and collaborative. We identify the thought patterns that are contributing to your anxiety, depression, or unhelpful behaviors, examine the evidence for and against them, and build more accurate, balanced perspectives. You'll develop a toolkit of concrete strategies -- thought records, behavioral experiments, activity scheduling -- that you'll practice between sessions. It's active work, and many clients notice real shifts in how they think and respond over time. Sessions are held via secure telehealth for clients located in Georgia.
What Becomes Possible
The outcomes you're working toward
Awareness of your thought patterns
You'll learn to catch the automatic thoughts that drive your anxiety, self-doubt, and avoidance -- before they drive your behavior.
A toolkit you can use anywhere
CBT gives you transferable skills. The tools we build together become yours to use in any situation, for the rest of your life.
Measurable progress in how you feel
CBT is goal-oriented and trackable. You'll be able to see -- not just feel -- the progress you're making over time.
